helping with repairs in the family's gunsmith shop. Upset with the quality
of the firearm he was working on, he made the comment, "I could
make a better rifle myself." His father dryly replied, "Well,
I wish you'd get to it, John Mose." From that day, John Moses Browning
did just that...and that tradition continues today. He sought a better
